A man living at the time of Exile and Return, first mentioned at Ezr.2.19.

Hashum is mentioned as an ancestor of a group of exiles who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian captivity. Later, in the time of Ezra, some of the descendants of Hashum were found to have married foreign women and pledged to put them away (Ezra 10:33). No further information about Hashum is provided in the Bible. (Ezra 2:19; 10.33;Nehemiah 7:22).
